PhD Research: Creative Care: Place making through interaction media – making sense of interactive experience in urban
The development of current technologies has become pervasive in our everyday lives. The way in which these technologies immerse into our day-to- day life influences the way we interact with others and the way we engage with the physical environment around us. Interaction could have the ability to influence the way in which we engage with one another and physical spaces. When interactive designs were deployed in public space, people began to pause and interact with the devices and have in-person interactions with other people. Throughout this research, Yu will explore how interactive technology can influence our social behaviours and our perception of place.
