Dispo Maps – Ad hoc Location Sharing
Application Description
DispoMaps enables you to add contacts from your iPhone’s address book and share your location with them. If a contact has more than one email address, you can select which email account you would like DispoMaps to use. You can also add email addresses to existing contacts. Once you have selected the contacts you want to share your location with, press “Publish your Location.” DispoMaps then notifies your selected contacts via email that you are sharing your location with them. The email contains a unique web link, which DispoMaps generates for you. Your selected contacts can then access your real-time location information which is displayed in Google Maps. Your privacy is protected: The web page does not contain any information that would reveal your personal identity. DispoMaps allows you to stop sharing and dispose of your map whenever you want.
